Javascript - Known Issues

Please note that the software and demos here are yet in a beta state. It may still be buggy and not work as expected.

Firefox 3, Opera 9.6, Google Chrome beta

The OMTK Javascript player seem to work without any restrictions.

Internet Explorer 7

There are some issues with the interaction between Flash and Javascript, which need to be solved. Using the Java backend should work, if a Java Runtime Environment is installed.

Safari

At least with the Windows version of Safari, it seems as if it's not always possible to invoke methods in Java applets from Javascript code, as an exception is thrown by the Java plugin. Using the Flash backend should work. This restriction may not apply for Safari under MacOS. I would appreciate feedback on this.
